Adult Day Activities Assistant (Weekend Provisions)

Based within our adult centre, Rendezvous, adult day activities service offers a variety of activities for adults of all ages with a physical, neurological and/or learning disability. The centre provides support and companionship for the adults alongside the opportunity to try new activities in a safe and friendly environment.

Play and Youth Club Supervisor

Department: Working with children
Salary: £13.85 per hour

As a Play and Youth Clubs Supervisor, you will manage, plan and deliver our play and youth schemes for children and young people with disabilities who are on short breaks. Specifically, supporting children and young people to gain enjoyment and development through play and leisure, you will ensure they are safe and feel valued. You will motivate, guide, role model and support staff in building relationships with children and young people, enabling them to engage effectively, as well as protecting the children from harm.

Night Support Worker

Salary: £14,435

The Role As a Support Worker, you will undertake a range of support activities for the young people with disabilities using our service. Working closely with Senior Support Workers, you will plan and provide leisure activities, prepare meals and refreshments, and ensure the emotional and physical wellbeing of the children and young people are maintained at all times. You’ll also undertake cleaning duties, assist staff with signage and PECs and support the day staff with administrative and IT related tasks, such as producing documentation and auditing. Please note, due to our open and collaborative working environment and the nature of our work with children and adults with disabilities, all our office-based roles can experience periods of elevated noise levels and some elements of disruption.

Support Worker

The Role As a Support Worker, you will undertake a range of support activities for the young people using our service. Working closely with Senior Support Workers and the Registered Manager, you will plan and provide leisure activities and prepare meals and refreshments. You will teach and assist young people, maintaining respect for them at all times, helping manage their personal hygiene, ensuring they are comfortable, and providing appropriate communication tools. Additionally, you will: - Administer medication - Report any changes or concerns to the Senior Support Worker - Contribute to risk assessments - Assist with hoists, frames and manual handling
