We have a well-equipped and spacious art studio that allows individuals of all abilities to be inspired and create unique works of art, including a kiln to fire up clay. There truly is something for everyone, from producing mosaics to exploring the shape, colour and textures of textiles and creating unique pieces of art for you to take home and enjoy.
We also run open art sessions where individuals can explore the visual art that most appeals to them, we use a wide range of media, and offer a range of activities, including drawing, painting, mosaics, textile art, card craft and clay work. We look at different eras and styles of painting and there is always the opportunity to research artists of your choice using our library and online resources.
If getting messy appeals, ypu can join in our messy art sessions using a range of materials and techniques. Don’t worry about ruining your jumper - aprons are provided! And keep an eye out for any artists in residence, there’s always something going on!
